What Are Referral Codes?

Referral codes let you earn commission by sharing MoonBots with friends. When someone uses your code, they get 10% off all renewals, and you earn 10% commission on their payments.

Getting Your Referral Code

Step 1: Find Your Code

1. Log in to your MoonBots account
2. Go to MoonBots Homepage
3. Look for "Affiliate Credits" section
4. Make or generate your unique referral code

Step 2: Share Your Code

1. Share with friends in Second Life
2. Post in community groups
3. Include in your business materials
4. Tell clients about the discount

Using Someone's Referral Code

When Adding a New Bot:

1. Go to Add New Bot page
2. Fill in your bot's information
3. Look for the "Referral Code" field
4. Enter your friend's code
5. Complete adding your bot

Update Existing Bot:

1. Go to your bot's page
2. Click Manage → Advanced Settings
3. Scroll to "Referral Code" section
4. Enter the code in the field
5. Click Save Settings

⏰ Important: You only have 30 days after adding your bot to add or change a referral code. After 30 days, the code locks in and cannot be changed!

1. You'll automatically get 10% off all future renewals
2. The discount applies to that bot forever
3. No need to re-enter the code

Earning Commissions

How You Earn

1. Someone uses your referral code on their bot
2. When they renew their bot, you earn 10% commission
3. Credits are added to your account automatically
4. You can see earnings in your dashboard

Withdrawing Your Earnings

1. Go to Affiliate Withdrawals page
2. Enter amount to withdraw (minimum 50 L$)
3. Click Request Withdrawal
4. Admin reviews and approves
5. L$ sent to your Second Life account

Rules & Restrictions

✅ You Can:

1. Share your code with anyone
2. Earn unlimited commissions
3. Use someone else's code on your bots
4. Withdraw earnings anytime (50 L$ minimum)

❌ You Cannot:

1. Use your own code on your own bots
2. Change codes after the grace period ends
3. Use fake or invalid codes
4. Create multiple accounts to cheat the system

FAQs

Q: Can I change my referral code after adding it?

A: Only during your grace period (30 days for new bots, or until Dec 25, 2025, for existing bots).

Q: What if my friend stops using their bot?

A: You only earn when they actually renew. No renewals = no commission.

Q: Do I have to use a referral code?

A: No! It's completely optional. But you'll save 10% if you do.

Q: How long does it take to get my withdrawal?

A: Usually within 2-8 hours after admin approval for in-world payout or instantly to your Moonbots wallet.

Q: Can I see who's using my code?

A: Yes! Check your affiliate dashboard for details.

Q: What if the code I want to use doesn't work?

A: Make sure it's spelled correctly (6-16 characters, letters and numbers only). If it still doesn't work, the code may not exist.
