How to fix a bot baby that's floating or sinking into the ground
Hover height controls how high or low your bot baby sits relative to the ground. Because of the number of variables in Second Life, there is no single hover height setting that works for every baby. This guide covers two ways to adjust it: through Edit Shape, and through the Set Hover Height bar.
Note
These tricks apply to your baby's own hover height. They won't solve hover issues on items your baby sits, sleeps, or plays on. We'll cover that in a separate guide.
This is a great place to start, and it's the method that tends to hold up best when you travel off-sim.

It may take a little playing with the numbers to get your baby positioned just right. In this example, Isabella is set at 52. She's a Toddleedoo chubby body baby using Shrinkee.
Tip
This number is not one-size-fits-all! Each baby is different, even babies of the same brand. Between three Toddleedoo babies and three Lullabeebs (two of which are twins), no two hover settings are the same.
Many find this the easiest way to control hover height on the fly. It comes down to whichever method works best for you. Some MoonBots parents use Edit Shape as their main setting and only reach for the hover bar for quick adjustments.

You don't need to keep the hover bar open once you've made your adjustment. It will hold the new setting.
Keep in Mind
Different terrains can affect hover, so don't panic if your baby floats a little at a park or a store. If the hover is way off in a particular spot, use the MoonBots HUD to make a quick adjustment there.
